This is especially true of integrating emigre women into modern Canadian society; their paths to successful careers are often riddled with obstacles and prejudices associated with their national, cultural or religious traditions and customs.
The web series Dream Big is intended to inspire immigrant women to believe in themselves and to motivate them achieve their dreams.
The web series will tell the stories of immigrant women who came to Canada from different countries and managed to build successful careers in their new homeland despite their circumstances.
Each 30-minute webisode will feature one of the women and her unique story, starting with her childhood in her native country to how she achieved the successful life she now has in Canada.
